Exchange Policy

At The Home Depot Mart, your satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to love your new home and decor items, so we offer a hassle-free exchange policy! This policy outlines the conditions under which you can exchange an item for a different size, color, or even a completely different product.

What Can Be Exchanged?

You can exchange most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery. This includes:

  • Incorrect Size or Color: Ordered a decorative piece that's a bit too large? No problem! Exchange it for the perfect size to fit your space. Didn't quite get the shade of curtains you envisioned? We can help you swap it out for the color that matches your home décor.
  • Change of Heart: Maybe you saw a new home decor item that caught your eye, or you decided you'd prefer something different. We understand, and we're happy to facilitate an exchange for a different item altogether.

What Can't Be Exchanged?

There are a few exceptions to our exchange policy:

  • Gift cards.
  • Items marked as "final sale."
  • Items that have been used or opened (unless they are damaged or defective).

How to Initiate an Exchange

  2. Prepare Your Return: Once you have confirmation from customer service, pack the item securely in its original packaging, including any manuals, accessories, and documentation. Be sure to include a copy of the packing slip and a note stating you'd like to exchange the item.
  3. Ship Your Return: Send the package back to us using a traceable shipping service with insurance. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged packages during return shipment.

Shipping Costs

There are two scenarios for exchange shipping costs:

  • Exchange Due to Our Error (e.g., wrong item shipped): We will cover the cost of return shipping for exchanges due to our error.
  • Exchange for Other Reasons: A nominal exchange shipping fee of $24.99 will be applied to cover return shipping costs.
