Return & Refund Policy

At The Home Depot Mart, we understand that sometimes things don't go as planned, and you may need to return an item you purchased. We strive to make the return process as smooth and hassle-free as possible for you. This policy outlines the conditions under which you can return items for a refund or exchange.

What Can Be Returned?

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items eligible for return include those that:

  • Arrived damaged or defective.
  • Were not as described on the website.
  • Are simply unwanted (with some exceptions noted below).

What Can't Be Returned?

There are a few exceptions to our return policy. The following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards.
  • Downloadable products (e.g., digital manuals).
  • Items marked as "final sale."
  • Items that have been used, opened, or are not in their original condition (unless damaged or defective).

How to Return an Item

  3. Ship Your Return: Send the package back to us using a traceable shipping service with insurance. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged packages during return shipment.

Shipping Costs

  • Exchange Due to Our Error (e.g., wrong item shipped): We will cover the cost of return shipping for exchanges due to our error.
  • Exchange for Other Reasons: A nominal exchange shipping fee of $24.99 will be applied to cover return shipping costs.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will issue a refund to the original payment method used for the purchase within 5 to 7 business days. Please note that any original shipping costs incurred by The Home Depot Mart will be deducted from your refund amount.

Defective or Damaged Products

We will work to resolve the issue quickly, whether by offering a replacement, repair, or full refund, depending on the situation.

Exchanges
